Obama: No other state needs coverage more
Amidst a massive website failure and overall staunch opposition in Texas to the Affordable Care Act, President Barack Obama traveled to Dallas encouraging ACA volunteers at a synagogue, Temple Emanu-El. The volunteers have assisted consumers with their enrollment in the ACA through the HealthCare.gov website which has received an overwhelming amount of criticism after consumers either received error messages or were rerouted, in the middle of enrollment, to begin the process over again.
Sharman Marshall-Burks had been a hard-working single-parent for many years before she married her current husband in 2007. At age 49, she thought being a new bride would be the focus of the new chapter in her life. However, a couple of months later, she noticed that she gained close to 14 pounds in one week. Startled by the sudden weight increase, she called her doctor for an appointment.

Rap lyrics of a well-known rapper are the center of a growing controversy. It’s not the first time and it won’t be the last. However, the concerns go beyond morality. According to protestors, the rapper is bragging about date rape.
Lupus is a chronic, debilitating, destructive and sometimes fatal autoimmune disease. Because it can affect the heart, kidneys, and other organs or other parts of the body without warning, it is called the “Cruel Mystery.” Many Americans have never heard of lupus, or don’t know what the disease is and how it can affect those who have it. Yet, 1.5 million Americans suffer from lupus ‒ that’s 1 in every 200 people. Moreover, African Americans are three times more likely to have lupus than Caucasians. It can also strike minorities at a younger age than Caucasians.
Since President Barack Obama has been in office, he has pushed to reform education, noting that America has fallen from No. 1 to No. 9 in the world in regard to college graduates.
