The Dallas Examiner is an award-winning Black-owned and -operated newspaper that serves the African American community. Founded in 1986 by Fred Finch Jr., its mission is to be a voice for the community and to the community. Each week, it seeks to provide informative articles that are as diverse as its audience – the African American community in Dallas-Fort Worth and beyond.
