Shop Talk – A Men’s Health Forum

Come see this forum addressing issues of physical, mental and financial health sponsored by Feed Oak Cliff and District 3 Councilman Casey Thomas Saturday, June 10 at 9:30 a.m. at the Thurgood Marshall Recreation Center, 5150 Mark Trail Way. Free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided. Councilman Casey Thomas will give details of his recent health scare. Dr. Quinn Capers will discuss stroke, hypertension and cardiovascular disease. D. Ericka Walker Williams will talk about diabetes prevention and management. LaShonda Dennis will tell us about budgeting, financial management and improving credit scores. Chris Keener will discuss stress and mental health. Kamica King will close out the event with her popular musical relaxation session.
