North Texas Food Bank Mobile 

The North Texas Food Bank Mobile Pantry will offer free food distribution May 25 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Marsalis Avenue Church of Christ, 2431 S. Marsalis Ave.

Older Americans Month Health and Information Fair 

DART is celebrating Older Americans Month with a Health and Information Fair. Catch the Green Line to Fair Park Station May 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Centennial Hall at Fair Park, 1001 Washington Street for free health screenings, door prizes, giveaways, food, music, entertainment, exercise, dancing and more.

MLK Produce Distribution

The MLK Produce Distribution, offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Tuesdays at noon at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center (Building A Distribution Window) on 2922 MLK Blvd. Distribution also avalailable on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. at Park South YMCA, 2500 Romine Ave. Distributions may begin earlier during extreme weather. Shoe Drive

Help recycle new and gently worn shoes by donating them to worthy causes. The Dallas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc is running a shoe drive May 27 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at UNT Dallas, 7300 University Hills Blvd. The drive will benefit The Bridges Safe House (a shelter for women and children impacted by domestic violence) and Body & Soul Homeless Program (an ecumenical and faith-based homeless program). For more information, contact Deitra Green or Bridget Nevels at DA1913.ERT@gmail.com.
