Commenting on his election, Council Member Narvaez said, “Thank you to my colleagues, this was a surprise. I pledge to work hard and build relationships in order to help heal and unite this council in order to move the business of the residents of Dallas forward. I do love this city with all my heart and love serving on the Council.”

Mayor Pro Tem King Arnold and Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Narvaez will take these roles following the adjournment of the June 22 Council meeting to reflect the results of the election.

Both applauded the work and leadership of Mayor Pro Tem West and Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Resendez.
