The Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly webinar series “How the U.S. Small Business Administration can help you start or grow your business” featuring Ahmad Goree from the Small Business Administration. The webinar will be held March 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Dallas County Community College District will present a free Military-Connected Resource Fair, March 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is open to all DCCCD students, members of the general public, veterans, active duty personnel and reservists plus their spouses and children.
Bridget Moon, economic development specialist and veterans business development officer with the Small Business Administration, will present a workshop focusing on entrepreneurship for veterans from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The program will be held in rooms 101 and 102 of the G Building at Eastfield College, located at 3737 Motley Drive in Mesquite. Parking is free; lots 7 and 8 offer the easiest access to the fair.
“The Military-Connected Resource Fair is being presented by DCCCD as part of our current College Credit for Heroes grant, which is provided by the Texas Workforce Commission,” said Philip Hoy, senior manager of grant projects for the district’s College Credit for Heroes program. “This event offers participants a chance to connect with representatives from organizations and agencies that can assist them with education and employment opportunities, plus other services they may need.”
