Congress can save more lives by removing barriers to cancer screenings

Early detection through cancer screenings is crucial for saving lives, especially in the Black community where rates of cancer screening are lower; a bill before Congress called the Prostate-Specific Antigen Screening for High-risk Insured Men Act aims to remove cost barriers to prostate cancer screening for high-risk men, such as Black men and those with a family history of the disease.
