(The HUB) – For the third year in a row, Dallas ISD high schools earned the top three spots in Texas, according to the latest U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best High Schools rankings. Additionally, six schools ranked in the top 50 in Texas.
Among nearly 18,000 nationally ranked schools and almost 2,000 high schools ranked in Texas, the School for the Talented and Gifted at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center was ranked No. 1 in Texas and ninth nationally.
“Being ranked the No. 1 high school in Texas is a powerful reflection of the hard work, values, and commitment of our entire school community,” said Arnoldo Zúñiga, TAG principal. “It means more than just a number; it represents a culture of excellence, growth, and shared purpose.”
Students who attend the highest-ranked public schools demonstrated outstanding outcomes above expectations in math, reading, and science state assessments, earned qualifying scores on an array of college-level exams, and graduated in high proportions, according to the study.
