“I am honored to have been chosen – to even be thought of in such a way,” stated Robyn H. Jimenez, vice president of production and editorial at The Dallas Examiner. “My mom would have loved this. She always tried to be of service where she could, even through her own trials and tribulations. So I always hope I can be a blessing to the paths that I cross. So I thank Angela King for thinking of me for such a prestigious award.

Jimenez was a founding member – who served as the secretary – and long-time volunteer of the ministry. She later elected to serve as vice president and then president.

“I’m also elated to see what the evening is going to bring,” Jimenez said enthusiastically. “Women praying for Christ ministries always does it big. So I know the evening will be full of excitement and blessings – and at least one surprise. I’m so ready for this blessing. And with everything going on… I need this.”

The formal event will be held from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at The Westin Dallas Park Central Hotel, located at 12720 Merit Drive. The dress code is long gowns and black tie only. Along with the awards ceremony, the event will include red carpet interviews, networking opportunities, live entertainment, inspiring speakers, dinner and more.

“Congratulations to all nominees on your nomination and recognition for all the work you’ve done and continue to do for our communities,” King said
