The Roland Parrish Celebrity Foundation Golf Pro/AM Golf Classic took place at the Golf Club of Dallas, featuring the top African American women professional and amateur golfers in the area, and raised over $125,000 in scholarships and financial assistance for students in North Texas.

Diane Xavier received her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Texas A&M University in 2003. She has been a journalist for over 20 years covering everything from news, sports, politics and health. She has been working with The Dallas Examiner since 2013 as a reporter, covering the unique storylines of the African American community in Dallas. She also currently works as the Production Manager for The Guadalupe Radio Network in North Texas on KATH 910 AM. She has been an avid sports fan since she was 12 years old and enjoys watching sports, listening to music, reading and spirituality.
