(Special to The Dallas Examiner) – The Dallas Zoo launched a new Zoo For All program Tuesday, designed to make zoo memberships for families more affordable and accessible for families across North Texas. Families who participate in Texas’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Women, Infants and Children programs can purchase a one-year, Family-level Zoo Membership in significant savings from the regular price.
Zoo For All represents the Dallas Zoo’s ongoing commitment to ensuring every family, regardless of financial circumstances, has the opportunity to explore one of Dallas’s most beloved education and conservation-focused destinations.
“Our mission of Engaging People and Saving Wildlife starts with making sure that everyone has the chance to experience our zoo,” said Lisa New, CEO of the Dallas Zoo. “Zoo For All is a crucial step toward removing barriers and making sure every family can connect with animals, nature, and conservation in meaningful ways. That core belief is central to everything we do here at the zoo, and we’re so proud to roll out this new program to help us extend our reach to even more families.”
Families who qualify can purchase one reduced-price membership in person at the zoo’s membership booth by presenting a valid EBT card along with a matching state-issued photo ID. Terms and conditions to apply and can be found at https://www.dallaszoo.com/zoo-for-all.
