The Dallas Museum of Art is hosting an “unprecedented” exhibition of 100 artworks that explores the transatlantic slave trade, featuring works by Aaron Douglas, a leader in the Harlem Renaissance, and other artists from around the world.
Mike McGee
Mike McGee is a Dallas-based journalist and photographer. He has been a reporter at The Dallas Examiner for eight years. He is a four-time winner of the National Association of Black Journalists Salute To Excellence awards and a recipient of the Press Club of Dallas Hugh Aynesworth Award for Excellence in Journalism. His work has appeared on KETK 56 News and in publications such as The New York Post, the Neighbors section of The Dallas Morning News and The Senior Voice. His photography has been in video installations at the Dallas Museum of Art C3 Galleries and on numerous Jones Soda labels.
