(Special to The Dallas Examiner) – The City of Dallas Youth Commission, a group of 15 civically engaged and diverse youth, celebrates Earth Month at Dallas Earth Fest. Hosted by the Committee, the event was held April 28 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Klyde Warren Park, located at 2021 Woodall Rodgers Freeway. The event brings awareness to environmental issues and highlights ways communities can be a part of the solution. 

With Earth themed activities, workshops and organizations, attendees had fun while learning more about environmentalism. Booths, workshops and activities were open throughout the entire event.

Admission was free and open to the public. Attendees could RSVP and receive more information by visiting https://www.dallasyouthcommission.com.

Organizations were able to sign up to have a booth at the event by calling 214-671-8288 for a form. Booths had to center around environmental topics and earth themed activities.
